RED TENT – Attuning to our Inner Cycles

Join us for the Red Tent at Terra's Temple, on June 15th from 5-8pm for Attuning to the Inner Cycles with Niralli D'Costa MA Somatic Psychology and Prajna Choudhury L.Ac. We will explore the connection between the menstrual cycle and the cycles of the moon and sun, as well as learn self care strategies for menstrual and sexual health from a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in women's health. The evening will also include an exploration of snake energy through a guided movement meditation in which we will viscerally attune to the opening and shedding that happens when we bleed. We will be lying on the floor so please bring a blanket or yoga mat and water for yourself. For more information about this Red Tent email Niralli: Red Tent events are offered by donation. Suggested donation is $15 (No one turned away for lack of funds).   Email Nicki for ongoing Red Tents at or Mark your calendars for upcoming dates:  July Sunday, July 7th, 2013 "Woman as Wisdom keepers" Elenna Rubin Goodman August Sunday, August 4th, 2013 "Self-Care" in times of stress with Nicki and friends Come home to yourself. Bring your sisters, daughters, mothers, aunts and grandmothers-in person or spirit. Bring a snack or something to drink to share. Bring art materials or cards to share. Feel free to wear red to hold the frequency of our moon blood.   "The Red Tent Temple Movement is a way for women to take our inner momentum, that feeling like the time is now and come forward with everything we are as women and give us a place to incubate, dream, slow down, and not have an agenda or plan. And simultaneously much is waiting for us in this not knowing place but we need to make time for the empty space. It is also not only empty space but woman space where we can share stories, laughter, songs, food and honor our unique cycles that we experience each month in our bleeding time and in our going through perimenopause and menopause." --from Alisa Starkweather We are located at 654 Oakland Ave, Oakland, CA 94611
